January progress

Been beavering away the last couple of weeks and finally got back on schedule with Lin's banjos. I've just applied the first coats of oil and hopefully should have them ready for assembling by the end of the week.
In between applying oil next week I'll be gluing up neck blanks and slotting fingerboards for the next batch: Dale's Walnut banjo with Ebony tone ring, Tony's Maple Cello banjo with a freakin' huge 14" pot and Andrew's Walnut banjo.
Whilst waiting for glue and oil to dry I might even get time to get a little work done on the fretless banjo mentioned in an earlier post.
I also have an urgent repair job coming in later in the week, a customer did some ice skating with his banjo last week and landed on top of it, breaking several parts in the process. It will be an ideal opportunity for him to have some inlay done on the peghead!
