Please keep an eye out for this banjo, if it turns up anywhere then it is stolen!
UPS, the incompetent c**ts, managed to lose this banjo and are being completely unhelpful, lying f***ers, and their tracking is an utter sham. It was being delivered within the UK, and disappeared somewhere between Norwich and Liverpool, it was collected by UPS on the 17th of October. More pictures and details can be found in the July entry, but here are the main details: Stamped 2023 188 on top of dowel stick Walnut block rim with Dobson tone ring Photos show a Fibreskyn head, this was changed to a Remo Renaissance before being sent to customer Mother of Pearl inlay in scoop Ebony overlay on rear of peghead as well as front
If you're looking for a nice 12" pot, slot head, I've just added this beauty to the '..in stock' page, fresh from the workshop, only completed yesterday. 12" Black walnut pot Rosewood/brass rod tone ring Renaissance head 25.5" scale fingerboard Just completed these very similar Walnut banjos. I'm still waiting for the customer to decide on the head for #188, in the meantime I thought I would install a Fibreskyn head, and be able to compare it side by side with a Renaissance. #189 is currently available to buy, full details are on the 'in stock' page. Use the 'contact' page with any questions #188 11" Black Walnut block rim Dobson tone ring 25.5" scale fingerboard Black walnut neck Fibreskyn head D'Addario medium strings No knot tailpiece #189 11" Black Walnut block rim Dobson tone ring 25.5" scale fingerboard European Walnut neck Renaissance head D'Addario medium strings Hawktail tailpiece
Just finished putting these two fretless banjos together, the top one is a commission, so not for sale, but the bottom one is currently available. Both banjos feature beautiful Brazilian Mahogany necks (check out the colour!), I recently managed to acquire several planks of the stuff from a retired cabinet maker, who had it stored for probably over 40 years. Top Banjo: 12" English Oak rim with Brazilian Mahogany cap Brazilian Mahogany neck Ebony fingerboard Nylgut 'Minstrel' strings Goat skin head Bottom Banjo: 12" multi ply rim, coated black Brazilian Mahogany neck Heavy nylon strings Goat skin head
