Just wrestled the calf skin onto Graham's tackhead and waiting for it to fully dry before doing final set-up.
A few more coats of oil to apply to Tony's banjo, a tension hoop to make and another skin to wrestle before the minstrel can be strung up.
After these two are complete it will be back on with building fretted open backs, the majority being Cherry.
Although my order book is full up for the rest of the year and into next year, I have had one cancelled order due to the customer having medical problems. This banjo had been started and all the hardware ready to go, therefore, I will have a new 'stock' banjo for sale shortly (2-3 months) if anyone is interested.
